A very detailed task of separating out a set of blended paths with a colour gradation into two sets of above and below layers with different gradations. First the blend was expanded and each path separated where appropriate. The paths also needed to be reshaped individually across the top area from the head to the wing to smooth out the points Adobe Illustrator automatically created.

The blend was expanded and separated into 2 layers, above and belowsets of paths. These sets of paths were given different individualgradation colourways to work in one illustration on light and dark backgrounds.
